SUSTAINABLE TOURISM PROGRAMME

WHAT IS SUSTAINABLE TOURISM?

Sustainable tourism is defined as “Tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of host communities”.

Oribi believes there is a need to recreate the landscape of tourism in South Africa, and we want to start with you! If you have a business in the tourism sector that you believe fits the definition of “Sustainable Tourism” or would like to transform your tourism-related business model to be more responsible, consider applying for the program, starting in September.
